Policies
Breakfast:
Children who arrive 7:00a.m. - 9:00a.m. will be served a nutritious breakfast.
Lunch:
A hot, wholesome lunch will be served daily to all children eating table food. A new menu will be posted on the website and in the foyer weekly.
Snack: Nutritious snacks will be served in the morning and twice in the afternoon.
Drinks:
Children will be served milk or juice at breakfast. Milk will be served with lunch. Water or fruit juice will be served with snacks.
Any child with allergies will be expected to bring special food, if needed.

Children in the upstairs 2 year old class, pre-K 3 and 4 year-old classes are required to wear a uniform to school daily during the school year. Uniform shirts are available at school at a reasonable cost. Uniform bottoms are navy blue and may be purchased at local department and discount stores. Children should wear closed-in shoes with socks for comfort and safety. These must be ordered and prepaid before delivery.

Before children will be accepted for entrance we must have the following:
Completed Registration Folder
Completed Physicians Report/Updated Immunization Records
Payment of the non refundable $60.00 registration fee, book fee (if applicable), and first week of tuition
Signed tuition payment agreement
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Tuition Payments:
Please call or visit for tuition information.
Tuition payments are due the Friday before the week of daycare. They will also be accepted without late fees until Monday evening, the week of daycare. Delinquent weekly payments will be accessed a late fee of $25.00 per week on each child's tuition. Monthly tuition will be accessed a late fee of $50.00 if paid after the 5th of the month. Anyone paying consistently late on monthly tuition will be changed to weekly payments.
This tuition is based upon a 10-hour day.We strongly discourage any child staying at the center longer than 10 hours but if you find it necessary, there will be an after school hourly fee charged.
Please pay your tuition and late fees promptly so we can spend less time on those issues and more time with the little people we want to spend our time with!
Expenses continue whether the child is present or absent. There is no tuition reduction for days missed due to illness,inclement weather, or holidays. Because of our sensitivity to working parents, we do not close at Carlie Care except for the following holidays:

Mardi Gras
Good Friday
Memorial Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
& following day
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year's Eve
New Year's Day
Parents are responsible for 1/2 of the weekly tuition if your child is absent 3 or more days. If your child is absent 2 or less days, full tuition is due.
We will provide before, after and holiday care for children through 12 years of age. Before and after school care weekly fee: $30.00 for either before or after care. $50.00 for before and after care. Hot breakfasts and nutritious after-school snacks are provided.Children will be assisted with their homework by a qualified instructor.
We will be closed on those days that the Jefferson Parish Schools close due to weather or other serious conditions.
